	JettRide 2010 (June 24 - August 27) is a cross country cycle tour for teens to raise funds and awareness to fight Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. JettRide 2010 will build on the momentum of JettRide 2007 by organizing more teens, who have a personal connection with the DMD community and continue this grass roots fundraising project across America. We are encouraging neighboring towns and communities along our route to participate. We will unite the families and communities affected by DMD nation wide.

About me

A pediatric nurse for over 31 years, I am currently working at Suncoast Hospice in sunny, hot, and flat* Pinellas County Florida. I have cared for many boys and young men with DMD and other related disorders and have witnessed first hand the relentless devastation it manifests for the entire family. My longstanding passion for cycling intersects with this experience with seriously ill children to make the Jettride 2010 the perfect means for me to make a difference for DMD families.
