BECOME A JETTRIDER!
Congratulations on wanting to become a 2010 JettRider!! This 9 week, cross-continental bike ride is going to be the chance of a lifetime, filled with memories, loads of fun & laughs! It is such an inspiration to be able to ride for someone who can't, while exploring america. This ride will impact the entire Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy community, uniting families from all over the US, while raising world-wide awarness!! THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR JOURNEY!
You may be thinking... 9 weeks, 3,700 miles... WHAT AM I THINKING?! You're not alone, our 2007 riders were thinking the same thing. However the miles will fly by, life-long friends will be established, and irreplaceable memories will be made. A group of our 2007 veteran riders will joining the 2010 tour, providing new riders with encouragement, coaching, and tricks of the trade.
Your days will be filled with group pranks, spontaneous ice cream stops and enjoying the surreal terrain, all while challenging yourself physically, mentally and emotionally in ways that you never thought possible. By the end of your journey, the JettRiders will have collectively peddled thousands of miles and educated countless communities across the country- producing a lifelong connection between the JettRiders, yourself, and the Duchenne community. Your self-esteem and confidence will grow as each mile is put behind you, resulting in a more mature, life-experienced, rider who loves life.
The Jett Foundation hopes to make the process of becoming a JettRider easy, and we are 100% dedicated to helping each and every one of you, whether it be helping you fundraise $4,000, deciding what to pack, or train... we'll be here every step of the way!
